Carol is an oil painter, in the impressionistic style, impasto technique, with a vibrant color palette. She’s a long time member in Studio One. She enjoys painting beautiful local treasures, La Jolla Cove, Torrey Pines, Balboa Park as well as scenes from her travels to Italy and France. Her trips to the southeast coast of the Carolinas inspire her oils of sunsets, oceans, and marshlands. She is passionate about birdwatching and gardening which are reflected in her paintings of hummingbirds, songbirds, cardinals, and quail. Carol is also a clay sculptor and a member of the San Diego Sculptors Guild. Her art is on display every day in her studio + the Sculptor Guild and is collected internationally.
