Danielle Deaton, has been a juried member of Spanish Village for over 20 years. With watercolors she paints landscapes, desert scenes, the High Sierras, Balboa Park, San Diego and Paris vistas. She painted a series of the 17 remaining original California missions.She was commissioned to paint the USS John Paul Jones destroyer, based in San Diego, which was the first ship which retaliated after 9-11 in Afghanistan. Her painting was a gift from the crew to their departing commander.
