Laura Esbensen is a San Diego-based artist. She works primarily with ink and watercolor, but often adds texture to her works with fiber arts or paper crafting. Esbensen’s subjects are often animals, taking inspiration either from the California landscape or fantasy. Her long-standing interest in drawing led her to pursue a BA in Studio Arts from the University of California, San Diego. In Studio 41, she sells framed original artworks, mounted original artworks, and matted prints.
