Linda’s artistic expression is reflected in eclectic creative art pieces. She has painted in her spare time nearly all her life and increased her study and efforts after retirement. Originally, photography was a step in the creative process of painting. Soon it became its own art form. She finds inspiration in diverse settings. Oil Painting: Love of nature—skies, trees, water, sunsets, color, light, shadows, shapes, tiny flowers and expansive landscapes—is her incentive to paint in oils. Largely self-taught, her style varies: realism, impressionism, impasto, fauvism, and abstract. Photography: Her photographic repertoire evolved from several art forms: manipulated photo film, computer enhanced technique effects, photography. She thoroughly enjoys going out on photo shoots either to local landmarks and vistas or on her travels through the United States and Europe.
