Sand collecting began in the early 1980’s while taking my mother on her first camping trip in Arizona. For the first time in my life I discovered there was bright orange sand in the world. I was wowed and this became one of many more road trips to come. As I looked upon my sand in jars I thought maybe there is something more to do here? Eventually discovering how to make permanent sand paintings I continue to evolve with sand as a medium.
All of my sand art is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. I receive great joy when someone is inspired by the possibilities of what may be manifested with sand.
