I am a self-taught artist, I have been practicing my art all my life and while I have learned other skills along the way which have taught me to be a good business person I have been a professional artist since I was a teenager. My passion is always to make my artwork vibrant and exude love of life and represents community and a sense of place in a positive and life affirming manner and I adore being a storyteller in paint. By body of work captures the spirit of people, animals and places in effervescent portrayals of local scenery, often depicting historic land and cityscape as well as colorful portraits celebrating the human spirit.My style evocative of the Impressionists sometimes mixed with surrealism. My signature palette derived from the bold pure colors of the rainbow flag.I began painting at age four when he got into his mothers paint-by-numbers. Though many people have tried to discourage me from being an artist I was lucky to have encouragement by family and public teachers for my drive and inspiration that has led the way to a lot of success including museum and gallery, collections, exhibitions, awards and publications.
