Tammy creates functional fiber wearable art as well as wall art. Each piece is a fusion of many silks and ultra-fine Merino wool. This is known as Nuno felting and is the process of working the wool fibers through the weave of the silks by hand. This migration of the wool creates a web that “glues” the silks together to form a new fabric.
